Basic Terms of Hire
(These terms are a guide, Which are subject to change and the information given at the shop is final)

All hires must be returned by 12pm the following working day, Sunday is not a standard working day - FULL Hire Terms can be found HERE

Deposit and identification you will need to hire equipment from us...

You MUST bring ONE of EACH of the following identification with you:

• Photo I.D. (This MUST be one of the following)
  - Driving Licence or Counterpart
  - Current UK Passport
  
  
• A Utility Bill (This MUST be one of the following and no older than 3 months)
  - Council Tax Bill
  - Bank Statement
  - Credit Card Statement
  - Utility Bill (gas, electric, Home phone, contract mobile phone bill)

WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY OTHER FORMS OF IDENTIFICATION

Hire Fees & Brief Terms:

All hire fees are correct on this website www.sussexpartyhireshop.co.uk and are subject to change, please check before booking your hire equipment, for pre booked equipment the hire fee will be at the pre booked rate.
NB NYE Hire fees are price & a half due the the length of time of the hire.
You are not permitted to sub hire any of the equipment out under any circumstances.

All lighting hires are sent out with a replacement lamp, should this be used we ask you to return the faulty lamp with the lighting effect
Any effects unit is used at the discretion of the hirer / operate, we will not be held responsible for Fog / Haze or ice machines setting off fire alarms or other systems or and bubble, foam or Snow machines making floors slippery / or damaging clothing / flooring etc.

Required Deposit:

For the hire value of up to £35 we will require a £100 deposit

For hire value over £35 we will require a £200 deposit

For large hire items (5 or more) we may require to make a credit check (you will be notified first) or, Additional information or ID or a guarantor may be require please ask in store.

(This is a returnable deposit, you will get this back in full providing our equipment is returned in the same working condition as when it was hired to you.)

THE DEPOSIT & ALL HIRE FEES ARE PAYABLE IN CASH
Collections: You must pay for you hire and deposits in CASH when you collect,
we DO NOT accept cheques or credit cards for hire for deposit fees.
All hires Must be paid for and ID Shown before any hires are delivered - Please call for delivery charges

You must be over 18 to hire equipment from Sussex Party Hire Shop

Our staff are not permitted to hire equipment unless the above is provided or available

Helium Hire :

Helium gas canisters are collected and returned to Sussex Party Shop, A delivery charge will apply if delivery required.
A cash returnable deposit will be required along with 2 forms of ID one being photo ID
All canisters are full and there are no refunds on part used canisters
We require 1 weeks notice for the hire of helium canisters. The hire time must not exceed 14 days unless agreed

Generator Hire :

The hirer is responsible to ensure that the machine has the correct levels of oils and water if required.
All machines are sent out with a full tank of fuel and are to be returned with a full tank of fuel.
The use and operation is souly down to the operator / hirer. If assistance is require and is not the fault of the machine and a call out is necessary then this will be charged at our hourly call out rate

Mon - Weds 9.30am - 5.00pm
Thurs - Sat 9.00am - 5.30pm
Christmas Eve 9.00am - 2.00pm
NYE 9.00am - 4.00pm

Sunday & Bank Holidays Closed

At Busy times you may be given a time slot to collect equipment, so we are able to assist with your hire order

Delivery:

Please call for delivery, set up and collection charges

We will not deliver to the address unless an adult is present to receive the delivery and a suitable person must be able to assist with unloading and the loading of the hire equipment.
